My name is Oliver, a Redlands local who attended Sheldon College from Year 7 through to Year 12, graduating in 2023 with an ATAR of 97+. Having studied Mathematical Methods, Specialist Mathematics, Biology, English, Physics, and Chemistry, I have firsthand experience navigating the full demands of the QCAA curriculum from internal assessments through to external exams. I currently study at university with the goal of entering medicine.
Since graduating I have been tutoring students across the Redlands and greater Brisbane in Methods, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. My sessions are structured and purposeful, planned around each student's individual needs, while remaining conversational and approachable so students feel comfortable engaging openly with the material. I keep my student load small by design so every student I work with receives genuinely personalised attention built around their goals and the way they learn best.
Having graduated in 2023, the QCAA system is still fresh in my mind so I know exactly what each syllabus demands, how assessments are structured, and what examiners are looking for. Every session is then built around that knowledge, structured with clear intent and tailored to each student's individual needs, while remaining conversational enough that students feel genuinely comfortable engaging with the material.
I offer focused one-on-one sessions both in-person and online, giving students and families the flexibility to choose what works best for their schedule and learning preferences. Every session is individually tailored, there's no generic program here, just targeted support built around where you are and where you need to be.
I provide focused tutoring in QCAA Mathematical Methods, from building a strong conceptual foundation through to advanced problem-solving and exam technique. Whether you're struggling with a specific topic or looking to push your results higher, sessions are tailored to exactly where you need the most support.
Having achieved greater than 95% for all the science subjects, I offer in-depth support across QCAA Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. From understanding core theory and working through internal exams to preparing for external exams, I help students develop a genuine understanding of the material rather than just surface-level memorisation.
With firsthand experience of the QCAA external exam process, I help students build the strategies, time management skills, and subject confidence needed to perform at their best when it counts. Sessions in the lead-up to exams are targeted and efficient, focusing on high-value revision and exam technique.
Building strong foundations early makes senior schooling significantly more manageable. I work with younger students in Maths and Science to develop core skills, close any gaps in understanding, and build the academic confidence that sets them up for success in Years 11 and 12.
